1. Must be a current AAU member (2021-22) and have AAU number to register for tournament as athlete or coach.
2. Non-Athlete AAU membership is not immediate for adults over 18 years of age. Allow at least 10 working days for completion of membership application process.
3. All coaches must complete the 2022 AAU Coaches Certification prior to registering for the tournament. Go to
It is mandatory that a current photo be downloaded to the clinic website every year. Previous photos are not stored in the system. It is required that before beginning the online coaches course, a .jpg digital photo of the coach be available on the computer being used for taking the online clinic. Photo should be taken from the shoulders up, no hats or sunglasses and must be a passport quality photo. If a coach does not supply a photo that meets the criteria outlined above, upon attending any National Event (AAU Taekwondo National Championship, AAU Junior Olympic Games, or Team Trials) he/she will be required to pay an additional fee at the time of Coaches check-in for AAU Taekwondo to process a photo which will be used on the coach’s badge/credentials. It will be best for all if it is done correctly at the time of the coaches certification.
